After a 32-year career in the elevator/escalator business Jim retired and moved to Naples, Florida. Shortly after Jim arrived in Naples he was introduced to the game of pickleball. It was an instant addiction. Jim not only played the game everyday but also studied the game. He learned from some of the top instructors in the country.
For the past few years Jim has been giving lessons and clinics to all level of players. He is viewed as a player’s coach working with all levels of players to improve on their weaknesses while enhancing their strengths.
Jim, and his wife Carol, are the co-founders of Pickleball for All, a charity dedicated to growing the sport in schools around Florida.
To further his mission to grow the sport he became a USAPA District Ambassador. Jim is IPTPA certified.
Simone is an IPTPA certified instructor. She started playing Pickleball in January 2015 and has since become the 5.0 Open National Champion in Mixed Doubles and Women's Singles, the Pro U.S. Open Women's Singles Champion and Tournament of Champions Masters Champion in Women's Doubles and Women's Singles.
Jardim was a two time All-American tennis player in doubles and was ranked number one in the country by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.
Simone’s coaching expertise was developed as the women’s Head Tennis Coach at Michigan State University. As a Division I coach she learned how to inspire her players and develop champions. Jardim coached two First-Team All-Big Ten selections and forty-one Spartans were recognized as Academic All-Big Ten honorees.

Academy Director of Operations
Chad's primary roles will be running the day to day operations of the Academy and coordinating the video analysis for camps and clinics.
He started playing Pickleball in May 2015 with his wife Simone Jardim and joins the list of those bitten by the Pickleball Bug.
A former Division I baseball player and coach, Chad has been involved with Division I athletics over the past 16 years. He has served as the Director of Baseball Operations at California State University, Fresno, a Gameday Supervisor at Michigan State University and the Video Coordinator for Nike Tennis Camps at The College of William and Mary and Michigan State University.
Chad also has more than 10 years experience as a private baseball instructor and operating private instruction facilities.
